Games for the 11th January are
looking potentially tricky for a reliable pick. The Spanish Segunda game
between lowly UCAM Murcia and top of the table Levante caught my eye, but
despite their dominance in the league, Levante have scored just 26 goals in 19
games. This is reflected in the price; over 0.5 goals is just 1/8 before a ball
is even kicked.
A more likely proposition is the Coppa Italia
tie between Juventus and Atalanta. Team news will need to be looked at later,
but both teams score goals aplenty in Serie A and you have to go back to 1997
for a 0-0 between the sides. As a quarter final game, the tie is one legged and
will be decided tonight. Over 0.5 goals is 1/20 so we would need the game to
stay goalless for 20 minutes or so. Hopefully a cagey first half ensues.
Other potential picks are PSG to beat Metz
outright at 1/10 which normally I would avoid at that price for an outright
win, and the Southampton v Liverpool League Cup game could interest with odds
for over 0.5 at juts 1/14 pre-kick off.
